The US-China Investment, Co-Hosted by PiYi Investment, The China Investment Federation (CIF), The Council of American States in China (CASIC), and SNR Denton, is a ground breaking program bringing over 50 Chinese private investors around the US to meet with over 100 US investment opportunities in targeted sectors ranging from Real Estate, Biotechnology, Agricultural Technology, New Energy, and Culture/Entertainment. Sectors for targeted investment have been selected based on their social impact and economic development for both the US and China.

One of the main objectives of the Week is to build understanding of local market conditions and to demystify Chinese private investment into the US. More than 1 trillion USD is expected to come out of China before 2020. The US has historically been a small recipient of Chinese foreign investment, but as development and economics shift the focus to more mature markets, the US stands to benefit greatly in the form of job creation and support for growth stage projects.

Many US states are equal or greater in size to most global economies and local leaders have taken significant steps to develop investment promotion initiatives in China similar to countries around the world. Their work has paid off. States such as South Carolina have seen over 400 mil USD invested and 4,000 jobs created locally in recent years.

The US-China Investment has received incredible support from a wide range of public and private partners around the US. Over 1000 participants are expected to attend events during the Week.
